Controversial media personality and self-acclaimed ‘pastor’ Daddy Freeze recently shared another post on his Instagram page that has raised eyebrows. EFCC Opens Trial Against Senator Nwaoboshi.

       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday opened its case against the lawmaker representing Delta North district at the National Assembly, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi. Nwaoboshi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is facing a two-count of conspiracy and money laundering instituted by the EFCC. At the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, the EFCC called two prosecution witnesses in proof of its charges against the senator. The first witness, one Prince Kpokpogiri, said he petitioned the EFCC after he received an anonymous call and some documents at his office in Asaba, Delta State. Kpokpogiri, who runs a non-governmental organisation and a real estate firm, added that he was subsequently invited to the anti-graft agency’s office in Abuja, to adopt his petition.      Top chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday stormed the Ekiti State Capital in campaign for its flag bearer in the July 14 Ekiti governorship election, Kayode Fayemi.     The campaign was held at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. APC chieftains including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, National leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun were at the campaign to urge Ekiti resident to vote Fayemi. Suicide Blasts In Borno kill At Least 31 People.

   Suspected Boko Haram jihadists killed at least 31 people in a twin suicide bomb attack on a town in northeast Nigeria, a local official and militia leader told AFP on Sunday. Two blasts ripped through the town of Damboa in Borno state on Saturday evening targeting people returning from celebrating the Eid al-Fitr holiday, in an attack bearing all the hallmarks of Boko Haram.
